How to lock out a former employee

 

We had an employee quit and I want to make sure they are not able to access our system. What do I need to do to lock the former employee out?

There are two places to lock a user out: in Agility and in the hosted site.

Agility user

To lock the user out of Agility, go to System Administration > Security Administration > User Profiles.

Once inside here, search and find the employee.

Check the Account disabled box, then save the record.

Hosted/Wedge user

Inside the hosted site, open the Hosted User Management Interface tool. You have two options: Deleting the user or making the user inactive.

To delete, search for the employee, select the employee, then right-click (or click Actions) then Delete User.

To inactivate, search for the employee, select the employee, then right-click (or click Actions) then Edit User. You can then unselect all their User Icon Access (Agility Prod, Agility Test, etc.). This would prevent the user from getting into anything. Or you could change the password
