“Quantity does not match” error during receiving

 

User is receiving a purchase order and when they save, they get an error message stating the quantity specified does not match the received quantity. Why is that and how do I correct?

In the receiving screen (Receive remaining qty from PO), save the receiving.

“Quantity specified for storage does not match” error

The item is being carried down to a farther level and you have not specified where and what levels the item is being stored at.

In Receiving, the Specify Storage screen should automatically open. You will need to fill out the Lot/Tag/Content values that are required for the item. Once finished, click Close to save the storage and continue with your receiving.
