Return to Stock Credit Memo

Go to: Sales Orders/Quotes > Sales Order Entry

1. Open the Invoiced Sales Order
1. Open/Search for the Sales Order with the incorrect price
2. Type in the existing Sales Order number

2. On the Sales Order tab, click Credit Sales Order icon

3. A new Credit Memo Entry window will open with the header information from the Original SO ID. Select the View Order History icon to display item detail from the original sales order.

4. Select the row and enter:
1. Return Qty
2. Return Price
3. Return Price UOM (if necessary)

Repeat for as many items as appropriate

Select Specify Additional Data

5. Use the locator to select the Reason Code for Return to Stock Credit Memo

1. To return the material with a fee, select a reason code with a Yes value for Return to Stock and Apply Customer Charge
2. To return the material without a fee, select a reason code with a Yes value for Return to Stock and a No for Apply Customer Charge

Click OK

6. Apply Reason Codes to line details

a.    Select the item and use Apply to Selected button to apply the reason code to the selected item. To apply the reason code to multiple items at one time, use the Ctrl key and mouse to cherry pick items, then select Apply to Selected

b.    Use the Apply to All button to apply the reason code to all items

Click Apply to CM

7. Review Order Totals

a.    Click on Detail (F8) tab

b.    Review item details extended cost from the grid

c.    Click Display Order Totals icon to review the entire order

8. Invoice the Credit Memo

a.    Click the Invoice Credit Memo icon

b.    Click OK

c.    Click Yes or No to print the invoice
